The post holes are dug. The posts are set. Soon the pickets will be painted (pink), attached to the posts and a gate fashioned. Hopefully, this will be a happy place to confine Sparky, the supremely talented digger dog, while I am working so hard I don't really see what he is up to until it is too late.He ate the plastic hands off my St. Francis statue. He dug a good sized swimming pool, ate an old egg shell and a snail all this morning all while I was cutting back the old growth of Miscanthus sinensis (an ornamental grass clump).
