A SUNDAY AFTERNOON IN SUNSHINE!

LET ME OUTSIDE! Thought the dinner plans and picking up clutter would never be done but when they were, out I went to edge a sixty foot long border. Somehow the edge was wandering in and out...here two feet, there six feet. The ground was easy to work because of recent rain so I did the whole thing...except for breaking up the clods and removing the moss, grass and weeds. I'll need some waterproof pants to be able to sit on the ground tomorrow or the next day.

Someone hung a hat in a tree on a low branch. At least I didn't say a word to it (see post from April 4 where I greet rhodies I mistook for a person). I just left it there. Either its owner or somebody else who needs a hat will pick it up.

The picture is NOT my garden unfortunately. As you may recognize, it is a view from Monet's garden.

Glad you finally got to go outside and play! Also enjoyed all the cheery "life and love" art.

I think you should introduce the hat to the rhodies, though. It would be the neighborly thing to do!

We managed to spend time outside yesterday afternoon, too. It WAS a lovely day!

I adore your pictures, by the way.

We'd all love to see a picture of YOUR garden! I am imagining it a rival to Monet's. :)

Pam, your sense of humor kills me. No wonder we have so mjch fun when we actually get together.

Cherie, thanks for stopping by and I'm glad you enjoy my picture collections.

Lisa...I will post pix of my own garden when I get some scanned. It isn't Monet's but it is notoriously original..notorious around here and in a few books at any rate.

Thanks
