I'm glad we have free speech, in America, but people who think 9/11 was "an inside job" remind me of the nuts (pardon my name calling, but I'm some kind of nut myself), who deny the Holocaust!!!; who say Bush or anyone they don't like is Hitler; and girls who claim to be, " born-again strippers for the Lord." I guess we just have to put up with the absurd in order to protect the free speech of everyone. But why don't most of us talk back?
Why do we let nonsense go unchallenged?

Maybe we're too nice... And maybe most of us don't have celebrity-sized egos where we think that the whole world is waiting for us to opine. What gets me is the arrogant air of authority celebrities seem to think they possess simply because they are celebrites. But since they DO opine so often, so loudly and so absurdly, I wish more of us WOULD speak up and present the other side.
Where Rosie is concerned, I take comfort in knowing that she spouts off so often and so ridiculously, which causes her credibility to go down.
I THINK YOU'RE RIGHT. How much credibility should a person have who thinks the show American Idol is racist?
But the people in her studio audience are a loud and unruly bunch wo seem to love whatever she spouts off about.
I only know this because I watch U-Tube clips. I never watch "The View."
And to think her nickname used to be "The Queen of Nice" when she had her first talk show several years ago...
Wow, I had forgotten that. Really NICE!
I miss her old talk show. Was she being a phoney then, or has something happened to disturb her to the point of irrationality?
You raise a good questions, Lizza.
Cherie...Don't encourage me...who knows who many more questions I'll end up raising?!
She Rosie)does seem to have changed her persona drastically.
