WHY CAN'T WE HAVE IT ALL?
We are enjoying our trip and our wonderful reunion with much loved family...but we left behind other family, an adorable dog and a beautiful garden, a newly seeded front lawn, dear friends, and pleasant routine. Has the garden dried up? Does Sparky miss us? Is Gregg ok? Did Diane find a substitute partner for bridge?
I wish devoutly we could have it all.

Hey Lizza! Ooo la la, you've spiced up your page some more. Me likes! Pretty picture.
How did you like Yellowstone? We were there for several days two summers ago. Great place.
So glad you are having a good time - though missing your home and loved ones who are here.
Cherie
We have eaten out at every nice place in town, I feel fat and happy. And guilty.
Gregg says Sparky won't mind him anymore. Sounds like a job for me but won't be back until about the 6th of August. I'm not really a good traveller because I love being home so much. The Minnesota branch of the family is worth it. Sign me up as "Mixed Emotions"
Well, Miss Mixed Emotions, I can relate. It's hard thinking about what's going on at home when you are having such an indulgent wonderful time, I know. Tom and I left 3 kids at home to fend for themselves, yes, they were old enough, but still, the youngest was only 10. I called home every night to hear their voices and wish them Good Night.
I can't wait to hear all about your trip. Relax and enjoy. It'll be over quickly, very quickly.
You're almost home! Sparky's going to go nuts!
It sure was a wonderful visit...
